Located at 525 Moreland Avenue, The Abbington at Ormewood is an assemblage of 8 properties in the Ormewood Park/East Atlanta Village neighborhoods. The assemblage includes the historic Masonic Lodge at 525 Moreland.
The development team engaged neighborhood stakeholders in a community design process that included 22 in-person neighborhood meetings attended by over 400 people and received over 600 survey responses on neighborhood priorities and preferred designs. The residential portion of the project will create 42 units of affordable housing for residents earning between 30-80% of area median income (AMI), with a project average of 58% AMI. Financing will be provided by the LIHTC program administered by the Georgia DCA and Housing Opportunity Bonds from Invest Atlanta.
